Our Story

Joe and Abby Feerrar opened a brewery in 2018. Over the next few years, the couple assembled a team that grew Bald Birds Brewing Company to include multiple locations across Pennsylvania and one of the largest production facilities in the state, with a focus on traditional beer styles and a relentless pursuit of consistently outstanding quality. As it turns out, craft beer and craft spirits tend to go hand-in-hand, and the team at Bald Birds found itself expanding beyond simply pouring pints to experimenting with beer cocktails and creating new drinks to delight taproom patrons.

Out of this experimentation and a desire to control the quality of what was being passed across the bar, Four Birds Distilling Company was born! Four Birds takes the tradition of generations of distillers and adds a healthy splash of innovation to produce the highest-quality craft spirits. With a primary distilling facility in Jersey Shore, PA and a satellite tasting room in Havertown, PA, you can expect to see Four Birds in your neighborhood very soon!
